John Saunders first began supplying sound and lighting systems equipment as long ago as 1984 and over the subsequent years has supplied sound systems installations for numerous major events throughout the United Kingdom. He formed John Saunders Productions in 2001 and has since supplied touring systems for many productions and shows to many UK theatres including The Royal Albert Hall, The Lyric Theatre and The Adelphi Theatre London. He has supplied local authorities including Newcastle Coty Council, North Lincolnshire Council, Middlesbrough Town Council, Stockton Town Council, Darlington Town Council, Redcar Council, Hartlepool Town Council, Wandsbeck Council, Peterlee Town Council, Seaham Town Council… as well as radio station such as Radio 1, Radio 2, BBC Radio Cleveland, Metro Radio, TFM Radio, Century Radio, Signal Radio and Alpha Radio. A sample of varied environments he has been involved with include Aria Productions (Ice Rinks), Ripon Racecourse, Carlisle Racecourse and Julian Lloyd Webber at the Tees Barrage.
In 2004 John branched out into staging in the form of mobile stage hire and mobile stage rental and operated 8 metre and 10 metre trailer stages, towers and barriers. John has always prided himself on providing that special personal touch. His vast wealth of experience enables him to always advise and supply the best package for your needs, regardless of the size of your event. The technology and equipment provided is of the highest specification, which includes products from internationally acclaimed manufacturers including Shure, d & b Audiotechnik speaker systems, analogue and digital consoles from Midas, Soundcraft and Yamaha. The John Saunders team are all very friendly, totally professional and extremely experienced in all aspects of the industry. Utilising a suitable variety of vehicles varying from sprinters to articulated units, enables us to offer very competitive packages. It must also be stressed that Health and safety is always of paramount importance with all relevant risk assessments, method statements and pat tests provided.
More recently John teamed up with an outstanding sound designer to form a formidable team and winning combination. Their continuing outstanding success in providing Sound Systems for major UK and international events… including major acclaimed shows such as Thriller Live and The Rat Pack – Live from Las Vegas, led to the focus being concentrated on the Sound Design and Installation side of the business. The pressure of time meant that John decided to sell the stage hire and rental side of the business to concentrate on the Sound Technology sector as their business operation expands into Europe and across the world. This was a necessary decision to maintain the John Saunders Productions philosophy which is to provide the very best personal service for his clients.
John Saunders Productions is also now moving further into new and ex-hire equipment sales of sound and event equipment. A new website at www.saunderssound.co.uk is being developed to offer online sales.
